Duties of the Chief Power Engineer:
•Organization of uninterrupted and high-quality supply of electricity, as well as telephone, radio, automated calls and alarms within the established limits;
•Development of measures to save electricity, control over the targeted distribution of electricity among the objects of higher education;
•Accounting and analysis of accidents and breakdowns in the electricity sector;
•Ensuring that subordinate personnel follow the rules and instructions in action;
•Keeping records of energy consumption of the university, preparation of the energy balance of the university;
•Execution of energy consumption contracts with external organizations;
•Timely and quality performance of preventive maintenance and repair of electricity, as well as telephone, radio, automated call and alarm systems, as well as control over their technical condition;
•Development of job descriptions for the operation of electrical equipment, ventilation, etc .;
•Implement measures to prepare the university for the winter;
•Monitoring the current state of protective equipment in the facilities and services of higher education, checking their suitability;
•Organize initial and regular inspections of the insulation resistance of power systems and devices;
•Execution of orders for the necessary materials and equipment, accounting of material and technical means stored in the warehouse;
•Ordering and supervising the design organizations for the reconstruction and modernization of energy facilities;
•Provide management with the necessary documentation to take action against violations resulting from breaches of instructions and rules.
